Music is key to Europe's cultural diversity and a universal language that interlinks people and breaks down the barriers that separate them.

In this sixth episode of FYI Chat with EU Ambassador, Vietnamese rapper and music producer Rhymastic describes music as a platform to connect with audiences. He demonstrates how talented artists can freely express themselves while drifting to the rhythm of improvisation in the ocean of music.

‘Talent is a must when you want to conquer the art world,’ he says. ‘The art field is a gigantic world with no boundary. So, the more you go, the more you want to learn.’

In the discussion, EU Ambassador to Vietnam H.E. Mr Giorgio Aliberti introduces the European Commission’s Music Moves Europe framework for initiatives and actions in support of the music sector. The idea is to have the music industry develop properly and to keep creativity and improvisation alive.

Stressing that music is an inspiration for all, Amb. Aliberti encourages young people to explore music as a world of freedom, emotions and connections as well as a bridge between people.

In only a day after its release, the episode received over 230 likes, around 20 comments and 5 shares. The latest episode marks the conclusion of the six-part series, launched by the EU Delegation to Vietnam (EUD) in November 2022. Each episode has spotlighted young people who are making waves from all angles of sustainable development in Vietnam.
