Dr. Haneen Daoud

Deputy Head of Division for Metals at New Materials Bayreuth Technology Center (NMB), Germany

As an Engineer for Materials Development, Dr. Daoud researched on development of compositionally complex alloys for high temperature application, during her PhD at the Metals and Alloys Institute in university of Bayreuth, Germany. She used to be Manager for Materials Development at Pfarr Stanztechnik GmbH, Germany. She developed and patented different types of solders with a focus on energy efficiency. At the current position, she concentrates on the development of new, sustainable metallic materials and resource-efficient processes for diverse applications such as additive manufacturing, coatings and metal forming
