Dr Jenny Lind ELMACO

Dr. Jenny Lind Elmaco is the current Chair of the Marie Curie Alumni Association in Southeast Asia, an NCP of the Marie Sklodowska Curie Actions, Vice President for Asia Pacific of the Global Women Inventors and Innovators Network, Board Member of the Association of Young Environmental Journalists (AYEJ) and Member of the Steering Committee on the UN of the International Federation of Business and Professional Women (BPW International).

She completed the Circular Economy and Sustainability Strategies Program from the Judge Business School of the University of Cambridge. She also has a Masters in peace and security from the University of Innsbruck with an Austrian scholarship, in Global Studies from the University of Leipzig and Vienna on an Erasmus Mundus scholarship and an MBA with a specialization in Big Data and Business Intelligence from EAE Madrid and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos with a University grant as well. She earned her PhD in Peace and International Development with the highest honors (sobresaliente cum laude) from the Cátedra UNESCO de Filosofía para la Paz, Universidad Jaume in Spain.

She has been part of the Research Group on European Civil Society and Multi-level Governance at the University of Muenster, the European Research Center for Information Systems, the Non Profit Team at the Vienna School of Business and Economics, Universidad Complutense in Madrid, Royal Roads University in Canada, Asian Institute of Management among others and is a current Visiting Professor at the University of Ljubljana. She is a recipient of the Fulbright-Hays grant and of the International Visitor Leadership Program of the US State Department. She has provided advisory and technical support to international organizations on development and SDG projects such as with the Spanish Agency for International Development Cooperation (AECID), the Asian Development Bank, the Austrian Foundation for International Development, Women without Borders, among others. Her first job was as Program Director for youth affairs of the Office of the President, upon the invitation of Her Excellency Gloria Macapagal Arroyo.
