Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HCMUT – Bach khoa) – Vietnam National University, established in 1957, is a state-owned and comprehensive university in Vietnam.

In 2017, HCMUT – Bach khoa is one of the four universities in Vietnam to be accredited by HCERES (The High Council for Evaluation of Research and Higher Education, Europe) at institutional-level; the Third university in ASEAN to receive AUN-QA accreditation at institutional-level.

For programs accreditation, HCMUT – Bach khoa is the first university in Vietnam to achieve ABET (Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology Certification, USA) in two majors: Computer Science and Computer Engineering. We also achieved AUN – QA (Quality Assurance in ASEAN University Network Certification) in 9 majors: Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Business Administration, Industrial System Engineering, Automatic Control Engineering and Electrical-Electronic Engineering.

HCMUT – Bach khoa is cooperating with prestigious universities in the world. Thus, students have opportunities to transfer to our partner universities for the Bachelor degree awarded by the partner universities; as well as exchanging for academic or cultural programs in maximum 02 semesters.
