Cine Europa is the annual European Union film festival organised by the EU Delegation to the Philippines (EUD) in collaboration with EU Member States (EUMS) and cultural institutes, this year celebrating its 25th anniversary. To recognise 25 years of cultural exchange through film, the festival will tour four cities across the country: Manila, Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.

Cine Europa is a flagship activity of the EUD, most known for the dynamic exchange of ideas it facilitates. It is a platform for EU officers to meet local authorities and engage in dialogue over art and culture, as well as a space where Philippine institutions can discuss partnerships and collaborations.

This year the event will take place both in person: outdoor screenings, bike-ins and walk-ins, as well as virtually, through online events.

Film festivals offer a platform for independent filmmakers to share their stories. These festivals provide an attractive addition to mainstream films, adding diversity to the voices in the public sphere.
